The Plymouth Community School Corporation bus drivers are hosting a Community Food Drive this week and need the entire community's help to make it a success.
This week, you can drop off your donations at Butterfly Boutique or Simplee Stated Gifts in downtown Plymouth, at the Kroger store, or at any Plymouth Community School Corporation building, or you can send them to school with your student. Donations to STUFF-A-BUS will be accepted this Saturday, March 15, in front of Kroger from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Donations will benefit the Bread of Life Food Pantry on North Michigan Road, the Plymouth Wesleyan Church on South Michigan Road, and the Marshall County Neighborhood Center on Garro Street.
Non-perishable food items include canned chicken, salmon, and tuna; peanut butter, jelly, ravioli, or spaghetti and meatballs; spaghetti sauce and noodles; canned fruits and vegetables; and stews and soups. Other items needed include instant mashed potatoes, cereal, crackers, mac & cheese, rice, pancake mix, pop tarts, granola bars, and oatmeal.
Every donation—whether big or small—makes a difference for those in need.
