Plymouth Park Department Superintendent Mike Hite notified GIANT fm WTCA Tuesday afternoon of work that will be happening on the Greenway Trail Wednesday.
Hite said they’ve received some complaints about approaches to the pedestrian bridges along the trail. He said in some locations there has been some settlement, causing a bump when you ride your bike on the trail.
Hite said Stone Excavating will work on the approaches today. The work will require some excavation work with new fill before the trail is put back in place.
The Greenway Trail will not be closed during the maintenance work, but cones will be placed for walkers, runners, and bikers’ safety. Users of the trial should be prepared to go off the trail for short distances in locations where the work is happening.
