The Pantheon in downtown Vincennes will soon be home to a new Commercial Kitchen Space to help assist culinary business startups in Knox County.
A ribbon cutting ceremony is planned for Tuesday, February 24th at 11:30 a.m. ET to celebrate the launch. The new space addresses a barrier for food entrepreneurs who are looking to go into business in the Knox County area. Pantheon officials say that providing access to a licensed commercial kitchen to legally prepare and package food products creates the opportunity for new food-based businesses to start locally.
There has been strong interest shown in individuals who have the ideas and talent but lack the access to compliant kitchen space to begin their ventures. The new kitchen space is being developed in conjunction with the Knox County Health Department.
