On Saturday, March 18, (2023) at approximately 7:45 in the evening, Marshall County K-9 Deputy Curtis Templeman performed a traffic stop on a vehicle on U.S. 31 in the area of 4A Road.
During the investigation, the deputy found that the driver, Stanley West, 28, of Morristown, TN, and one of the occupants, George Bogue, 63, of St. Louis, MO of the vehicle had full extradition warrants through various states.
The pair were taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail and held pending transport to their respective states for their warrants.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
