A Columbus, Ohio, man was arrested early Thursday morning on felony operating while intoxicated charges after a traffic stop revealed he was driving impaired with his young daughter in the vehicle.
A Plymouth Police officer stopped a vehicle on U.S. 30 near Michigan Street at approximately 3:15 a.m. on January 2nd for a speeding violation.
During the traffic stop, the officer identified the driver as Kyle Dicecco, 28, of Columbus, Ohio. The investigation revealed that Dicecco was in violation of an active no-contact order and was showing signs of impairment.
The officer also discovered that Dicecco's 3-year-old daughter was in the vehicle at the time.
Dicecco was taken into custody and faces multiple charges, including felony operating while intoxicated with child endangerment, misdemeanor invasion of privacy with a no-contact order violation, and possession of marijuana.
The presence of the child in the vehicle during the alleged intoxicated driving elevates the OWI charge to a felony level.
Dicecco was transported to Marshall County Jail. Bond information was not immediately available.
