The Vincennes City Board of Works and Safety were witnesses to the swearing in of three new police officers Monday evening.
Mason Stafford, Caden Devine and Zachary King were formally given the oath of service by Mayor Joe Yochum and will be issued their badge numbers to join the police department.
Also, 7 city firemen were given promotions in the department ranks and were recognized for their achievements.
