Mary Alice Linne, 97, of Shelbyville, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Ashford Place Healthcare in Shelbyville.
She was born on February 15, 1929, in Shelbyville, the daughter of Lawrence and Edna (Martin) Soller. In 2005, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Henry C. Linne.
Mary is survived by her children, Joseph Linne and wife, Shirley, of Westfield, Dr. James Linne and wife, Sheryl, of Cincinnati, Ohio, Debbie Arthur and husband, Steve of Zionsville, and Kathy Zerr and husband, Mark, of Shelbyville; son-in-law, Bob Kelley, of Shelbyville; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to Henry, Mary was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Janet Kelley.
Mary was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church.
She was a homemaker and formerly owned and operated Linne’s Bakery.
Private family services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
Interment will be at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Shelbyville.
