The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department strongly supports the citizens of this community and their Rights outlined in the Constitution of the United States. The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department is taking a step further from supporting to offering education related to the use of firearms.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department will host a firearms safety course again this year on November 2nd at 10:00 a.m. The course will begin with classroom training on safety concepts, legal issues, handling, storage, carrying, and shooting fundamentals. The class will then meet at a local firearms range to practice with certified instructors.
As in previous years, this course is free, making it accessible to all. To sign up, visit the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department’s website, sheriffmarshallcounty.org, and click on the Firearms Safety Course Registration under Community Information Links. Further instructions will be sent to those who signed up. For any queries, please contact Sergeant Ryan Hollopeter at 574-936-3187 Ext. 237. The deadline to sign up for this course is October 27.
