Marshall County officials will convene for two important end-of-year meetings next week to address budget matters and 2026 appointments.
The Marshall County Council will meet Monday, December 29, at 9 a.m. to consider two ordinances, one for additional appropriations and the second for transfer of appropriations.
The ordinances address year-end budget adjustments before the new fiscal period begins.
The Marshall County Board of Commissioners will hold their final meeting of 2025 on Wednesday, December 31, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
The commissioner’s agenda includes the County Auditor’s Report with Accounts payable claims and payroll claims.
The commissioners will make 2026 appointments and consider an engagement letter with Krieg Devault for lobbying services.
Both meetings will be livestreamed on YouTube at youtube.com/@MarshallCountyIN, allowing residents to watch remotely. The meetings are also open to the public in accordance with Indiana's Open Door Law.
Meeting locations are in the second floor meeting room of the County Building at 112 West Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
