The Marshall County Historical Society and Museum will host another Friday Lunch and Lecture this week, with a special look back at small-town life in earlier times.

This month's event has been moved to the first Friday of the month instead of the second, due to Sidewalk Sales in downtown Plymouth.

Titled "Growing Up in a Small Town," the presentation will feature Bob Gorrell, who grew up in Bremen during the 1920s. As the son of the publishers of the Bremen Enquirer, Gorrell had a front-row seat to the community of that time. Dennis Carter will also share highlights from his book, "Growing Up in Small Town America."

The one-hour Brown Bag Lunch and Lecture will be held at noon this Friday at the Marshall County Museum in downtown Plymouth. Attendees are invited to bring a lunch and enjoy an interesting presentation while they eat.
