Lawrenceville Police arrested a local woman after a traffic stop Thursday night.
36-year-old Tosha Clark of Lawrenceville was charged preliminarily with Driving Under the Influence (Drugs), Driving While License Suspended and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance. She was transported to the Lawrence County Jail and was charged additionally with Bringing Contraband into a Penal Institution after drugs were discovered on her person.
Clark was booked into the jail and was being held there on those charges pending a detention hearing under Illinois law.
