A good crowd was on hand Thursday night at the Lawrenceville Armory for the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner Meeting.
Among the activities were recognition of 19 businesses for milestones including WAKO for it's 65 year membership in the chamber.
It was announced by chamber officials that the organization, which promotes economic vitality and community development, added 10 new members in 2024.
Highlights included the naming of the Chamber Member of the Year-Wildchild Flower Farm.
Educators of the year-Beth Heath (2nd grade teacher for Red Hill Unit 10) and Josh Bailey (3rd grade teacher for Lawrence Unit 20).
The Chamber Citizen of the Year was retired businesswoman Pam Nolan, who now devotes time to the Lawrenceville Downtown Revitalization Committee.
