The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a temporary traffic pattern shift that will have northbound traffic on State Road 63 utilize the southbound lanes. Beginning on or after Wednesday, two-way traffic will use the southbound lanes on S.R. 63 beginning just north of S.R. 234 and return to the northbound lanes south of C.R. 600 N. The purpose of these shifts is to allow crews to do a bridge deck replacement over the Vermilion River on the northbound lanes. Work is now complete on the southbound bridge replacement on the other side of the road. Work in this area is expected to last until the end of the year but is weather permitting and subject to change.
