A Kewanna man is facing several felony charges after he was accused of molesting multiple young boys over the course of several years.
According to court documents, Steven Boros, 63, faces two counts of Child Molesting, both Level 1 felonies; and two counts of Child Molesting/Fondling, both Level 4 felonies.
According to the probable cause affidavit, accusations against Boros was first brought to light August 1, 2025 when a report was made to Fulton County Sheriff's Office by an employee with the Indiana Department of Child Services about multiple children that were allegedly molested. During DCS interviews with the children it was alleged that there were numerous times Boros had touched the boys and that it happened on a regular basis. Boros allegedly started the interactions by telling the children he needed to regularly examine their private parts to ensure they had been cleaning properly.
When interviewed by the detective on August 18, however, Boros denied that he sexually abused any child. It was noted that Boros had two separate allegations that he had also molested two different children in 2001 and 2006, which Boros also denied.
Between November and April of this year more than four interviews were conducted with the boys, who all claimed Boros had had sexual intercourse with them and fondled them on multiple occasions over a span of several years. During each of the interviews the children claimed to be fearful of Boros, stating he would allegedly get aggressive if they denied any of his sexual passes. The victims stated the alleged abuse finally stopped during the summer of 2025.
Boros was booked at the Fulton County Detention Center on May 1 with a $100,000 cash bond. A pretrial conference is scheduled on June 8 in the Fulton County Circuit Court.
