Today is the day when Terre Haute and much of the Wabash Valley will experience a total solar eclipse in the middle of the afternoon.
According to INDOT there are 12 million people in the path of totality not including tourists. Because of this preparation has been important for roadway safety. Dollier stresses the importance of finding out where you will be parking, as the accessibility to parking may be limited. Also, it was stressed to obey regular traffic safety tips such as buckling up and having a full gas tank.
