Jordan said graduation rates increased across every student population, reflecting continued progress among students with varying educational needs and backgrounds. Graduation data is used by families, educators, and policymakers to assess school performance, identify achievement gaps, and guide decisions on academic programs across the state. It represents another milestone in Indiana's K-12 progress, which includes third-grade literacy growth, ranking 6th nationally for 4th and 8th grade reading, and improved chronic absenteeism rates.
