Heartland Art Center's annual Black & White Gala & Auction is returning this November, and this year it's taking over the historic REES Theatre for an unforgettable evening of art, creativity, and community.
The 2026 Black & White Exhibition & Gala will be held Friday, November 13, from 6:00 to 10:00 PM. The event raises funds to support the transformation of Heartland's historic downtown home into a vibrant new center for the arts.
"It's your chance to get creative," organizers said. The event encourages creative cocktail attire in black and white — ranging from classic and elegant to artistic, unexpected, and completely original.
Attendees can expect a night full of experiences, including live art demonstrations, live music, and creative performances. The evening also features cocktails and heavy hors d'oeuvres, a curated auction, and a few surprises along the way.
Tickets will be released in two phases, with early access available to Heartland members and past ticket holders. Tickets will be made available to members and past ticket holders today, September 14th. Tickets will be available to the general public beginning September 16th.
Early bird pricing runs from September 14 to October 14, with main floor tickets at $60 and VIP balcony tickets at $75. Regular pricing after October 14th will be $70 for the main floor and $85 for the VIP balcony.
Not a member yet? Organizers say now is a great time to join Heartland Art Center to receive early ticket access while also supporting the organization's work throughout the community.
For now, the message is simple: save the date.
