Indiana Conservation Officers Michael Montgomery and Charles Martin apprehended two ginseng thieves in Parke County. A private land owner reported two suspects trespassing on his property. The suspects were located and in possession of ginseng. One male was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine and was subsequently arrested and lodged at the Parke County Jail. The other suspect was issued a criminal summons to appear in court. Charges include use of private land without consent, possession of methamphetamine, theft, and criminal trespass. The ginseng was returned to the landowner.
