A house explosion Wednesday afternoon in Greencastle remains under investigation by the Greencastle Fire Department and the Indiana State Fire Marshal.
According to Greencastle Fire Chief Rob Frank, crews were dispatched to the area of Woodhaven Drive for a reported gas leak. During the investigation, an explosion occurred inside a residence, resulting in a structure fire
One firefighter and one civilian sustained injuries and were transported from the scene in stable condition.
By 7 pm Wednesday, the gas leak had been secured and power was still out in the neighborhood.
