The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office offered its appreciation in a social media post to Protecting K9 Heroes for their generous support of the county's K9 program.
Thanks to a grant from Protecting K9 Heroes out of Glenwood, Illinois, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office received a fully stocked medical and safety kit for K9 Rapid. The kit arrived in a high-quality backpack and includes a wide range of essential medical supplies such as wipes, ointments, bandages, medications, and more—ensuring the office is better prepared to care for Rapid in the field.
Protecting K9 Heroes stands behind their mission by offering to replace any used items at no cost, ensuring these lifesaving resources are always available.
Corporal Ryan Utter shared, “We are incredibly grateful for organizations like Protecting K9 Heroes that recognize the risks our K9 partners face every day. Their support helps ensure that Rapid has the protection and medical resources he needs to stay safe while serving our community.”
Protecting K9 Heroes is dedicated to safeguarding the four-legged heroes who protect us by providing ballistic patrol vests, emergency Narcan, and critical trauma kits.
