A new group is beginning to support the parks in Plymouth.
Friends of the Park will be hosting their first event tomorrow in River Park Square. A 5-K race is being held to raise awareness about the newly formed Friends of the Park group and funds from the race will help support the revitalization of the wooden playground in Centennial Park.
The 5K run begins at 10 a.m. with registration open at 9 a.m. in the VFW Shelter in River Park Square. There is no fee to participate in the race, free will donations will be accepted for your entry fee.
