First Responders Attend Training at Co-Alliance

Nearly 70 firefighters from the area attended a training session on propane and anhydrous ammonia safety and emergency response on February 22nd.

This training was provided by Co-Alliance at their Argos location. Firefighters and first responders from Marshall County and surrounding counties were in attendance. The 2-hour program taught by certified trainers qualifies for continuing education credits for first responders.

Plymouth Fire Chief Steve Holm sent one of the full-time firefighters to the training. He will relay that training to the other firefighters in the Plymouth Department during an upcoming training meeting. Holm said he only sent one because Plymouth firemen were having their own department training that same evening.

Those who attended the training at Co-Alliance were treated to a meal that was provided by the Culver Young Farmers.
