Fulton County Public Library has been selected as one of just 16 rural public libraries nationwide to participate in the inaugural Smithsonian Associates Rural Library Program.
For more than 60 years, Smithsonian Associates—the world's largest museum-based education program—has inspired lifelong learning through innovative programs that bring the Smithsonian experience to communities across the country.
As part of this 12-month partnership, our library will offer virtual Smithsonian Associates programming along with special local activities and events designed to enrich and engage our community—all at no cost to participants.
In a statement about the program, the Fulton County Public Library announced that they are beyond excited to bring this world-class educational opportunity to Fulton County and are already hard at work planning exciting programs.
