Authorities in neighboring Crawford County report that one person has died after a two vehicle accident Monday morning.
According to the Crawford County Sheriffs Department, they were called out around 7 a.m. to the accident scene on a rural county road. A 2010 Ford being driven by 39 year old Daniel Fritchie of Oblong veered off the road out of control and struck a ditch. It then impacted a utility pole which caused it to roll over onto its top. Fritchie was pronounced dead of his injuries sustained at the scene.
The investigation does continue.
