The flood warning for the Embarras River at Lawrenceville has now been lifted. The National Weather Service (NWS) reports that the river crested over the weekend at just over 32 feet Saturday. It has now fallen below its 30 foot flood stage and was at 28.92 feet Monday morning. It will continue a steady fall.
