On Friday, October 4th, at approximately 1:07 AM, Marshall County Officer Wozniak initiated a traffic stop on U.S. 31 near 14C Road on a black 2005 Chevrolet pickup truck. During his investigation, it was found that the driver, 38-year-old Nicolas Garcia Perez of Nashville, was operating a vehicle without ever receiving a driver's license.
Garcia-Perez was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in at 1:53 a.m. His $100 cash bond was paid at 2:12 a.m. the same morning and he was released on bond.

They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
