The Marshall County Council will meet Thursday at 6 p.m. in the second-floor meeting room of the County Building.
The agenda for the meeting includes two opportunities for the public to ask questions on agenda items. Also on the agenda is Health Department Administrator Faith Freed who is seeking approval to apply for an Immunization and Vaccine Grant for Children, the quarterly report from Sandy Garrison and Mike Miley from the Marshall County Museum, and consideration of an annual service agreement with Cender/Dalton Financial Consultants.
Under the new “Consent Agenda” the additional appropriations and transfers will be approved by the council without going through the entire list one by one. If a council member has a question on a transfer or additional request, it can be pulled out and discussed during the meeting.
County Council members will also receive updates from the Highway Committee, ARP Committee, Budget and Finance Committee, and Personnel Committee.
The County Council meetings are open to the public and live-streamed on the county’s website at www.co.marshall.in.us or on the smartphone app. The meeting is also available for viewing for 30 days following the meeting.
