On Monday the Marshall County Commissioners approved the request of Marshall County Clerk Jenny Bennitt to close the Clerk’s Office for two hours on Friday, May 24 so the staff can attend a funeral.
Bennitt said the funeral is in town and employees want to support their fellow employee with the loss of this precious family member.
The commissioners approved closing the Marshall County Clerk’s office from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The commissioners did ask Bennitt to speak with the judges and seek their approval too.
