Indiana State Police initiated a criminal investigation after receiving information that three females, under the age of 14, had been sexually abused by a Clinton man.
The investigation revealed that Logan B. Beckman, 21, of Clinton, allegedly sexually abused three female juveniles in Vermillion County.
After reviewing the investigation, the Vermillion County Prosecutor’s Office requested an arrest warrant through the Vermillion County Circuit Court for Beckman. A warrant was issued yesterday for Beckman and served by Master Trooper Detective Angie Hahn at the Putnamville Correctional Facility in Greencastle, where he was already incarcerated.
Beckman is charged with four counts of Child Molesting with Serious Bodily Injury, Level 1 Felony, and four more counts of Child Molesting, Level 3 Felony.
Assisting agencies with Indiana State Police include the Vermillion County Prosecutor’s Office, Vermillion County Sheriff’s Department, Parke and Vermillion County Department of Child Services, and Susie’s Place.
