An early morning traffic stop by Officer Schieber with the Plymouth Police Department resulted in the arrest of a Rochester man.
At about 12:35 on Tuesday morning, March 12th, the city officer initiated a traffic stop for a registration violation on Lake Avenue near Glenn Overmeyer Drive. During the officer's investigation, suspected marijuana was located.
The officer suspected the driver of being impaired and was assisted by an additional officer working Operation Pull Over.
The driver was identified as Steven Snyder, 55, of Cedar Lane in Rochester. The investigation found Snyder to be impaired. He was taken into custody upon completion of the investigation and lodged at the Marshall County Jail.
Steven Snyder is facing criminal charges of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated on a controlled substance, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of paraphernalia.
