The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will award the bid for the Street Department parking lot at their meeting Monday night.
Other agenda items include reports from city department heads and ratification of Executive Order 4 regarding a dumpster placement on a city street. The clerk-treasurer will present three requests: a parking space for Hinterland Bookery, a directional sign request by Jay Buchtel, and street closure requests by the downtown merchants.
The meeting begins at 6 p.m. in the second-floor Council Chambers of City Hall.
The Common Council meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. and includes four public hearings, one for additional appropriations, one for the American Containers tax abatement, another waiving noncompliance for PIDCO, and the final waiving noncompliance for IWC.
The city council will then consider the resolution for the additional appropriations, a resolution confirming the American Containers property is in an economic revitalization area for their tax abatement, and finally, a resolution waiving the noncompliance of IWC Real Estate.
The city meetings are open to the public to attend and streamed live on the city’s YouTube channel.
