The City of Plymouth will conduct its regular meetings tonight in the second-floor Council Chambers of City Hall.  The Board of Public Works and Safety meeting begins at 6 p.m., and the Common Council meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.

The Board of Public Works and Safety will award bids for a new dump truck for the city’s Utility Superintendent and a truck for the City Engineer.  They will also hear reports from various city department heads.

The City Attorney will present a lease agreement with Heartland Artist to use the Old Fire House during their restoration project, and the Board will consider the tabled request concerning the alley from Heartland as part of their renovation project.

The Plymouth Common Council will consider second and third readings of an ordinance establishing a fee for returned payments, and an ordinance amending the city building code for application permits.

Also on the agenda is the first amendment to the Plymouth Aquatic Center sublease, approval of donations for the Mayor’s Summer of Music, the cancellation of outstanding unpaid checks, and a request from Chuck Houin for a Commercial Revitalization Rebate Program Grant.

The city meetings are open to the public and held on the second floor of City Hall.  Those attending should enter through the Garro Street door.  You can also watch the meetings on the City of Plymouth YouTube channel.
