Celebrate the impact Purdue Extension and the SWCD are making in Putnam County

The Putnam County Soil & Water Conservation District (SWCD) and Purdue Extension in Putnam County would like to invite everyone to attend their Joint Annual Meeting. 

Throughout the event, participants will get the chance to learn about some of the exciting things that have taken place over the last twelve months.  Additionally, new Extension Board Members and SWCD Board Members will be elected. 

The highlight of the evening will be honoring several key supporters. The Putnam County Extension Board will present the esteemed Friend of Extension award, recognizing exceptional support of local Extension programming. In addition, the Putnam County SWCD will announce the recipients of both the Friend of Conservation and Woodland Owner of the Year awards. It’s a wonderful chance to celebrate individuals who make a meaningful impact on education, conservation, and natural resource stewardship in Putnam County.

The Joint Annual Meetingwill occur on Thursday, January 22nd. Doors for the event will open at 5:45pm with the dinner starting at 6:00pm.  Dinner this year will be provided by Retta Jeans Café. The event will take place in the York Auto Family Community Building at the Putnam County Fairgrounds.  Please RSVP prior to Jan. 15thto either the Putnam County SWCD or Purdue Extension Office. The cost of attending is $5.00 and is payable at the door.
