Fulton County Commissioners have lifted the burn ban with recent rainfall alleviating the dry conditions.
It’s burning of a different kind,or smoking, that now has the commissioners attention.
Rick Ranstead explains that the simple discard of a spent cigarette has brought a topic before them mandated by the county’s insurance.
In vehicle news, Ranstead says the county council will look at how to proceed with a vehicle used by the assessor’s office. The vehicle was one that the office gained use of as it became increasingly expensive having the county pay employees for using their personal vehicles on the job.
