The Marshall County Historical Society is sponsoring a Brown Bag Lunch and Lecture event on Friday, May 9th, from noon to 1:00 p.m. Gail Wing will speak about her father’s cross-country trip after graduating from college in 1933, at a time when jobs were scarce due to the Great Depression. Hershel Seymour and a friend headed for Vancouver, British Columbia, but not everything went as planned on their great hobo adventure!
The Brown Bag event will be held at the Marshall County Historical Society and Museum, 123 North Michigan Street in downtown Plymouth.
