Bridgeport Police arrested a local woman early Friday morning.
Taken into custody was 54 year old Cynthia Wells of Sumner.
She was charged with Violation of an Order of Protection.
Wells was booked into the Lawrence County Jail and was being held there pending a detention hearing.
