The new airspace safety plan is moving forward toward implementation at the Mid-American Air Center located northeast of Lawrenceville.
The assessment was made by airport manager Kurt Schwartz to the Bi-State Authority Tuesday night at the airport.
He indicated that once the snow is cleared, the contractor will be on site to begin that project.
Schwartz also reported on the snow removal efforts to keep the airport clear last week and said that airport workers were kept busy plowing snow off the runways allowing the facility to remain open.
Assignments were made to various board committee for 2025.
