A 51-year-old Plymouth man was arrested Monday morning after allegedly threatening Marshall County Highway Department employees with a rifle at his residence on Olive Road.
According to a news release from Deputy Prater of the Marshall County Sheriff's Department, deputies responded to a residence in the 3000 block of Olive Road at approximately 9:00 a.m. on Monday, May 19th, following a report that a male was threatening County Highway Department workers with a firearm.
Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the suspect, identified as Jonathan Ashby, 51, of Olive Road in Plymouth. During the subsequent investigation, a search warrant was executed at the residence. Deputies located firearms and suspected drugs inside the home.
Ashby was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on charges of Intimidation with a Deadly Weapon, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Paraphernalia. He is being held on a $1,505 bond.
