Each year, POET selects local projects that benefit the community and improve the quality of life for area residents. These one-time grants are available to support local nonprofits, schools, churches, earth-friendly groups, and individuals.

“POET is proud to be a part of the local community and partner with people and organizations that share our passion for giving back,” said Jeremy Jacobs, General Manager at POET Bioprocessing – Cloverdale. “Our team is excited to see this year's applications and help make a positive impact in our community.”

Last year’s grants included:

  • Dollars for Scholars in Putnam County – Farm-to-Fork: toward local scholarships and the Farm-to-Fork Program.
  • Greencastle Middle School Eighth Grade Science Program: to purchase materials such as buckets, garden shears, gloves, boots, macroinvertebrate dip nets, and Riverwatch chemical testing kits for students to participate in the community-wide cleanup effort.

The grant application period for 2026 runs from now until May 15. For more information, visit poet.com/grants.
