City police arrested 59-year-old James Vinall Jr. of West Jefferson Street in Plymouth Sunday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
At approximately 3:40 on Sunday morning, Corporal Schieber with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Plum Street near Adams Street. During the officer’s investigation, Vinall was found to be intoxicated.
He was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail. Vinall was lodged at 4:43 a.m. for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, posted a cash bond at 12:59 p.m., and was released.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings, entitled to be represented by counsel, and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
