The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a bicyclist being struck by a vehicle on Sunday afternoon, October 6th.
At approximately 1:40 in the afternoon deputies with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department responded to the 19,000 block of 15th Road for a car vs bicyclist accident.
The crash investigation determined that 33-year-old Jacquelyn Boylan was operating a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado east on 15th Road. While doing so, she struck an 11-year-old male juvenile who entered the roadway and collided with the front passenger side portion of the pick-up.
The eleven-year-old male was later air lifted to a medical care facility in Fort Wayne.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by Culver EMS & Fire.
