Shelbyville captured its first Hoosier Legends Conference tennis championship in its inaugural season. And now six players have been named All-Conference.
Both of Shelbyville’s doubles teams and its top two singles players were selected All-HLC.
Kashton Laycock and Bram Kolkmeier, who played No. 1 singles and No. 2 singles respectively, topped the All-Conference list.
Shelbyville’s No. 1 doubles team of Jack Van Wye and Cooper Reed were honored as were the No. 2 doubles pairing of Owen Shively and Grant Tackett.

A total of 14 players were honored by the HLC, including Triton Central’s Brayden Hoover, Bradyn Robinson and Drayton Kermode.
Hoover, who played No. 1 singles and went on to secure a sectional championship, also was named Co-Player of the Year with Indian Creek’s Grayson Taylor.
Also selected All-HLC were Indian Creek’s Mason Frische and Aaron Hickson, Greenwood’s Vaughn Schippnick and Tri-West’s Eric Dean.
