It was a solid day of competition Saturday for both Parkview and Red Hill Junior High girls and boys track and field teams at the 2026 Ed Loeb Invitation Meet held at Lawrenceville High School.
The Braves won both the 7th grade and 8th grade boys meets while the junior high Miss Salukis won the 7th grade girls meet and the host Lady Braves captured the 8th grade girls meet.
Neko Bickers of Parkview won the 8th grade girls high jump with a leap of 4' 9" and the 8th grade 100 meter hurdles in 17.27--both school records.
Derek Rodriguez of Parkview won the 8th grade 100 meters in a time of 11.83 and the 8th grade 200 meters in a time of 24.82--both school records
Samuel Inman of Parkview set a new school record with a time of 16.33 in the 7th grade 110 meter hurdles
Taygan Rotman of Parkview now holds the school record for the 8th grade 200 meters by recording a time of 27.57
The Parkview 8th grade 4x400 meter relay team of Bickers, Sienna Ivers, Hadley Johnson and Meko Alexander set a new record in that event with a time of 4:53.56.
Two Red Hill Junior High Lady Salukis also set school records in the Loeb Invitational Saturday. Nora Shick won the 7th grade 100 meters and Savannah Fleming won the 8th grade 100 meters.
