Baseball Salukis no hit in Midland Trail Tournament

Junior pitcher Brian Mann of the Waltonville Spartans was too much for the Red Hill Salukis in the semi-finals of the 2026 Midland Trail Conference (MTC) Baseball tournament Wednesday at Bluford (Webber).

He went 7 innings and allowed no runs and no hits in a 3-0 win. Mann struck out 15 and allowed 3 walks to help his team improve to 13-6 and move to the championship game.

Carter Davis took the pitching loss for the Salukis. He pitched 6 innings and allowed 3 runs on 4 hits with 6 strikeouts and 3 walks. The Salukis made no errors on the day.

The Salukis are now 11-9 on the season and are idle until next week.
