A familiar name has been named the new head football coach at Princeton (Ind.).
Derek Archer was selected to head the Tiger program.
Archer is a Gibson County (Ind.) native who lives in Mt Carmel, Ill. He has been with the North Gibson school district as a teacher and coach since 2019.
Archer has been an assistant football coach for 21 years, including six years at Red Hill High School as an assistant in the Saluki program.
He also coached Lady Saluki track and field during his time in Bridgeport.
