William Edward Walls Jr., 82, of Ladoga, passed away early Saturday morning May 10, 2025 at home surrounded by his family.
William was born December 25, 1942 in Indianapolis to the late William E. Walls Sr. and Anna Marie (Ross) Walls.
William worked for many years at Nucor Steel in Crawfordsville in quality control. William loved riding his golf cart all over town. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, and playing cards. He also used to coach softball. He was very involved in stock car racing; he had his own car and drove in many races.
He is survived by a daughter Donna J. Beady (Travis), a son Danny J. Walls (Keri McKinsey), a foster daughter Rhonda Warren, a sister, 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mildred A. Walls, a brother, one grandson and one great-grandson.
There will be a graveside service at 11:00 am Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Ladoga Cemetery in Ladoga, IN.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Animal Welfare League of Montgomery Co. 1104 Big 4 Arch Rd. Crawfordsville, IN 47933.
