Linda Kay Bricker, age 76 of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away Friday, September 25, 2026, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.
Linda Kay Bricker, age 76 of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away Friday, September 25, 2026, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. She was born in Fairfield, Illinois on January 1, 1950, to Carl and Elsie (Sinnett) Canull.
Linda had a personality out of this world, and her smile was as big as her heart. She was funny and flirtatious and never met a stranger. Her four children and their families were the joy in her life. She cherished her time with all of them anytime she could be with them.
For 40 years, Linda cared for others as a nurse’s aide. She was compassionate and attentive to the needs of those in her care.
Those remaining to carry on her legacy of love and compassion include: her husband- Eddie “Lee” Bricker of Lawrenceville, Illinois; her two daughters- Karen Tracey of Vincennes, Indiana and Marty Tracey of Bridgeport, Illinois; two sons- David Tracey and his wife Melissa of Clarksville, Tennessee and Kevin Hart and Jamie Caine of Lawrenceville, Illinois; one stepson- Wendall Brubaker of Muncie, Indiana; five grandchildren- Kristen Fitch of Newton, Kansas, Justin Tracey of Vincennes, Indiana, Savannah Phillips and husband Cole of Indian Mound, Tennessee, Lake Blair of Bridgeport, Illinois, and Evan Hart and Alivia of Lawrenceville, Illinois; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Carl and Elsie Canull; three sisters- Alberta Vandemark, Martha Hawkins, and Carolyn Adams; and one brother- Arthur Canull.
According to Linda’s wishes, there will be no formal services planned. Cunningham Funeral Homes is assisting her family during their time of loss.
