Jennifer Viola Nicole Durham, age 26, of Robinson, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 as a result of a motor vehicle crash.
Jennifer Viola Nicole Durham, age 26, of Robinson, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 as a result of a motor vehicle crash. She was born on November 22, 1999 in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the daughter of Christopher Durham and Julia McClure McFarland.
Jennifer was a light in a dark world. If you knew her, you loved her. She loved her family, friends, her cats, art, and anime. She was our light. “When it feels like the end, keep looking for where the light comes in because it is the light that reminds us we can continue again.”
Preceding Jennifer in death were her grandparents, Wendell McClure, Edward Durham, and Carolyn Durham.
Survivors include her mother, Julia and Brian McFarland of Robinson; her father, Christoper and Bethany Durham of Harrisburg, Illinois; her brothers, Bret Durham of Robinson, Illinois, Austin Stevens of Champaign, Illinois and Daryl Webber of Olney, Illinois; her sister, Cheyenne Durham of Harrisburg, Illinois; her grandmother, Romona McClure of Billett, Illinois; her best friend who was like a sister to her, Hope Coatney of Robinson, Illinois; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
When we think about Jennifer’s life, we are reminded of the words Jesus said in John 8:13. Jesus spoke to them saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
Friends and family may gather for a Celebration of Life on Thursday, November 5, 2026 from 2:00 PM CST until 4:00 PM CST at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. In memory of Jennifer’s life, donations may be made to the Lupus Division at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, 1465 S. Grand Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63104.
