Clyde Bell Jr., 75, of Palestine, Indiana passed on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at residence.

Clyde was born on March 11, 1951 in Robbins, Tennessee to Goldie Ellie and Louella (Parson) Bell. He married on March 20, 2020 in the Philippines to Virginia Ilacad, she survives.

He worked for Warsaw Plating Works and later retired from Black Oxide. He was a member of Burket Bible Church, where he served faithfully on the pastor–parish committee. He loved spending time with his family and was a devoted husband. He enjoyed watching TV westerns and learning about U.S. history. He was deeply loyal to his friends and always willing to help in any way he could. A true “Mr. Fix-It,” he even built his own home with help from his friends.

He is survived by his wife Virginia Bell of Palestine; son Chico Bell of Bedford; step daughter Marjorie and husband Matthew Spencer of Pierceton; granddaughter Katlyn; grandson Leeam Asia; 2 great grandson; sister Mary; and brother Bud.

Clyde was preceded in death by his parents and 7 siblings.

A memorial service celebrating Clyde's life will be held at 1:00 pm, Sunday, May 3, 2026 in the Burket Bible Church of Burket, Indiana, with Rev. Mark Eastway officiating.

The arrangements have been entrusted to King Memorial Home 101 North Tucker Street Mentone, Indiana.
