Clarence James Larkins, Jr., 84, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026.
He was born on January 2, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Clarence James Larkins, Sr. and Ophelia Walker.
Clarence resided in California for over 50 years. A lifelong entrepreneur with a strong work ethic, he was the founder and owner of Master Formula.
He served in the United States Army, but above all, Clarence was a man of deep and unwavering faith. He walked closely with Jesus for many years. He lived in his Bible, found strength and comfort in God’s Word, and had a deep love for gospel music. Through both the good times and the difficult seasons of life, his faith remained his foundation. Even in suffering, he held onto the Lord, and now he rests in the peace he long believed in.
He is survived by his eleven children: Darryl, Tina, Kenny, Monica, Tiffany, Nikki, Christopher, Lauren, Noel, Michael, and Shawn, along with many grandchildren.
A private burial will be held at Danville National Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Gooch Funeral Home & Crematory, Rockville.
